Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Maelys Floral Atelier collects when you use maelys.ae, why we collect it, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, write to info@maelys.ae.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address and telephone number; the recipient's name, telephone number and delivery address; your delivery date and time preference; and any gift message you ask us to write. We keep a record of your orders and their delivery status.
If you create an account we also store your password in encrypted form, and any addresses or important dates you choose to save.
When you browse the site we store a small cookie that holds your basket and your language preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Card details
We never receive or store your card number. Payment is completed on our payment provider's own secure page, and we are told only whether the payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference we use to match it to your order.
Why we use your information
We use it to prepare and deliver your order, to keep you informed about it by email, to answer your questions, to handle refunds and complaints, and to keep the accounting and tax records the law requires us to keep.
We contact the recipient only where it is necessary to complete the delivery — for example to arrange access to a building.
Who else processes it
We rely on a small number of service providers, each of which processes data only on our instructions:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending order and account emails.
- Railway — hosting the site and its database.
- Cloudflare — domain, content delivery and image storage.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we are required to for accounting and tax purposes. Account information is kept while your account is open. If you close your account, we remove the personal details attached to it and retain only what we must keep for those records.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you have an account you can update your details or close the account yourself from your account settings. Write to info@maelys.ae for anything else.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the back office is restricted to authorised staff, and administrative actions are logged.
Changes
If we change this policy we will publish the updated version on this page.
